Alliteration - repetition of the same beginning consonant sound in words that are close together
    first and flutter

Assonance - repetition of the same vowel sound in words that are close together
    still is sitting

Consonance - repetition of the same ending consonant sound in words that are close together
    yore, door, chamber door

Internal Rhyme - rhyme that occurs within a line of poetry or within consecutive lines

Refrain - a word, phrase, line, or group of lines that is repeated (for effect) several times in a poem
    Quote the Raven, "Nevermore."
