I've installed the phpbbchat mod. It's kind of like a private chat...it's similar to the one on Facebook.

The problem is, if you send a friend request to someone and he/she accept, he/she won't show up on the Online/Offline list in the chat. UNLESS he/she sends you a friend request too and you accept.

So if you're sending someone a friend request, make sure to tell him/her to send you one as well.

I have 3 friends, but none of them show up in the Chat list. You know who you are. If I'm not appearing on the chat list, try sending me a friend request. I'll do the same.

It's all very confusing and the mod author doesn't know what is causing the problem. But hopefully he can fix it.

Currently, it's not working at all for me. bar shows up, but when I click it I just get "Loading" not a list

still suck at Loading. I use Chrome, but it also does not work in Firefox.

man I really want to keep this mod. but if I don't find a way to fix this soon I'll have to remove it (because it doesn't work)

guys, please let me know if it works for you...OR if you know the solution

Since it doesn't work, I'm forced to, unfortunately, uninstall this mod. I will continue looking for a good chat mod that doesn't require you to go to another page, but remains at all times and pages at the footer. similar to phpbbchat but I can't stick with that anymore. Sorry guys

I just want this mod so badly. sorry lol

but it STILL won't work. thing is, it works on the demo board.
