Normally people dislike sitting them and I don't exactly "like" it but I don't mind doing them as they give me good feedback and help with examination appeals and among other things. I just don't like the pressure that is put on pupils.
I generally don't do tons of revision because I don't really feel it benefits me too much, so I just generally create notes and revise areas I know I struggle with.
One last thing I really dislike is we do get exam leave for our preliminary examinations which means we don't have to come into school unless we have an exam and we can leave right after the exam and go home. However, what they've decided to do this year is instead of having two full weeks. We get one week and two days. This must now sound like a big deal right? Well it kinda is. It generally means that many people have multiple exams in on the same day which is very demanding and stressful.
It has also lead to many people having "exam clashes" which means they have two exams starting at the same time. Overall it has created quite a lot of stress and mess for many people in our year and the year below us.
Overall this was sorta an update and then also a mini rant.
