Slopes

The slope of the line is how it angles away from the horizontal. In order to find it, two points from the line are needed.

The slope formula is $m=\frac{y_1-y_2}{x_1-x_2}$

Horizontal lines have a zero slope.
Vertical lines have an undefined, or NO slope.
