What are Ωs?

Ω (Omega) is kinda like a currency used on this forum.


Wouldn't using the Ultimate Points MOD be easier?

Yes, but Ultimate Points MOD cannot be installed successfully on my forum - tons of errors so I can't use that mod.


How about other Points MOD?

They won't work either, though maybe I might get one to work without too much trouble. But I want to be careful with installing MODs now, since that could break my forum.


How do you earn Ω?

When you join, you start with Ω100. Since I use this as a custom profile field and not a points mod, you won't be earning them per post. Whenever you reach a milestone you will earn Ω100. The milestones are determined by rank. In other words, when you reach a new rank, you will earn Ω100. And because you won't get Ω100 automatically, you will have to PM me or hope I notice. Most of the time I will notice and will give you the Ωs. If not, you send me a PM. There will also be other ways, coming soon, that you can earn Ωs besides posting -- ex. Contests.


Can you lose Ω?

Yes. When you are given a warning, you lose Ω50. When you are suspended you lose Ω100. When you are permanently banned you will lose ALL your Ωs.


How can I spend Ω?

That is being planned. It might be likely that you can't spend it on anything, but I'm not sure.


Are a certain amount of Ω required for things like applying for Staff positions?

Nope. There is no requirement to have this or that amount of Ω to become one of the staff.
